Curved was founded by Alexander Armstrong (Pointless, Classic FM) and Peter Lindsay to give a lifelong passion to anyone who would never consider themselves a ‘classical music type’. It was started out of a shared love of this music, and a long-held frustration with the barriers preventing many people sharing in that enjoyment.
People love music. But great classical music is off-putting, overwhelming and boring to most: stuffy concert halls, long performances of unfamiliar music, expensive prices for good seats, and a feeling that it’s ‘not for me’.
Curved will change all of that.
